All projects can be provided in AutoCAD or Visio, and are checked for exact measurements and accuracy. Our designs go far beyond ‘permit ready’ drawings and will include detailed Bills of Material, parts schedules, and statements of work, as requested.

Our lead communications engineer and partner, Eric Epstein, is well known for the variety and scale of projects he has been involved with, in his 25+ years of communications infrastructure design work. A former U.S. Marine Corps officer, Eric has worked in Pubic Safety Radio, Telecommunications and IT since 1975. Eric worked in management positions for companies such as Sprint, Bose Corporation, and Cincinnati Bell before moving into contracting. Eric has worked on communications projects for the American Red Cross, NCR, AT&T, Sprint, Continental Airlines, Unisys, TSA, C.B. Richard Ellis, JBG Construction, DHS, US Census, and Customs and Boarder Protection.

Our lead construction designer and partner, Bonnie Harrison, is well known in the DC Metro area for her notable kitchens, both residential and commercial. She was featured in Washingtonian Magazine in 2002. Some of her kitchens have been photographed for cabinet manufacturers’ brochures, calendars, and advertisements. Over the past 18 years, she has designed kitchenettes, lavatories, and common spaces for multiple businesses and property management companies in the DC Metro area.

Along with design work, Ardent Ideas will install and manage the implementation of any of our designs – taking full responsibility for the complete project. Ardent Ideas uses only a select few, well known and experienced Finish Carpenters for kitchenette installations. All cabling and data/voice equipment installation is performed by a select set of licensed cabling, electrical and IT contract firms.

All ordering, delivery, construction, and quality control is overseen by Ardent Ideas’ staff.

Ardent Ideas maintains a one million dollar general liability policy on our work. All subcontractors are individually licensed.
